INSTALLATION
For all Polaris Scrambler 850/1000 and Polaris Sportsman 850/1000 models and the Polaris Sportman 1000 S / Scrambler 1000 S models up to mid-2022, the reinforced flywheel (damper) must also be installed.
For all Polaris Scrambler/Sportsman 1000 S models up from mid-2022, this main gear is a plug & play installation.
No reprogramming of the vehicle necessary.
RECOMMENDATION:
Replace the crankshaft oil seal to be on the safe side.

If you have a Polaris Sportsman / Scrambler 1000 S built after mid-2022, the reinforced flywheel / damper is already installed in your vehicle and the main gear is plug & play.
For all Polaris Sportsman & Scrambler 850/1000 and 1000 S before mid-2022, the flywheel must also be replaced with the reinforced damper. Please select the corresponding option when ordering.
